The Challenge
Greenfield Academy, a leading private school in Benin City with over 1,200 students across primary and secondary sections, was struggling with manual operations. Student records were in multiple paper registers, attendance was tracked in notebooks that got lost, and result computation at term-end was a chaotic 3-week process involving dozens of Excel sheets.
Parents had no visibility into their children's academic progress without visiting the school physically. Fee collection was poorly reconciled, and the school had no way to generate accurate financial reports for management decisions.

We designed and built a comprehensive school management system from scratch using Laravel 10, MySQL, and Tailwind CSS - optimized for shared hosting deployment.
